    I got my wife an ST for her birthday last yearto use with moving-water canoe. On our trial run with it last autumn, she said it seemed just a little too long. By then they were out of stock so I couldn't make a return/trade right away, AND I noted that the price for 2022 was going to increase, AND her first ST was a good fit for me. So I ordered one in her length some months ago, and it arrived last week, just in time for a paddle down Wisconsin's (Wild & Scenic) Namekagon River. We love the comfortable grip and the light weight. We could paddle all day with the Sunburst ST. The river was shallow in many stretches, so the blade tips were contacting riverbed rocks a lot. The rock guard did its job in protecting the blade edge. These are well-crafted paddles, made in our home state!
