Ocean Kayak

Ocean Kayak has been developing kayaks since the 1970's. Originally being built as fiberglass kayaks, Ocean Kayak began rotomolding their kayaks in the 1980's for mass production. While designing these rotomolded kayaks, they found that medium density polyethylene was virtually indestructable under regular use. This type of density gave the kayak some flex which made it difficult to crack but also retained its original shape. Polyethylene has given Ocean Kayak the opportunity to sell these kayaks at an affordable price but still make a solid and tough kayak!
